University of Hawaii Federal Credit Union in Honolulu seeks a Compliance Specialist to manage daily BSA compliance, vendor due diligence, and disclosures. This role reports to the Vice President, Member Support and helps strengthen the credit union’s regulatory program.

You will review CTRs/SARs, monitor OFAC, and assist with regulatory research and form updates. A bachelor’s degree and solid regulatory knowledge are preferred, with strong communication and multitasking skills valued.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in the retail financial services field, preferred.
• Knowledge of financial institution regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Responsabilidades

• BSA compliance – daily/monthly functions of processing and reviewing reports, and researching identified accounts for suspicious activity.
• Assists in the periodic review and update of the BSA program.
• Reviews CTRs and SARs to ensure timely filing.
• Reviews Verafin reports and follows up on suspicious activity.
• Reviews OFAC exemption list for compliance.
• Assists in researching regulations for compliance of credit union operations.
