Job summary

University of Hawaii FCU is seeking a Compliance Specialist to lead day-to-day compliance programs, including BSA, vendor due diligence, and regulatory disclosures. The role reports to the VP, Member Support.

Responsibilities include reviewing CTRs/SARs, monitoring OFAC, and supporting law changes with updated forms. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with strong regulatory knowledge and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in retail financial services or related field.
• Knowledge of financial institution regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office and regulatory documentation.

Responsibilities

• BSA Compliance – daily/monthly processing, reviewing reports, and researching suspicious activity.
• Review CTRs and SARs to ensure timely filings.
• Review OFAC exemption lists and vendor due diligence as part of compliance.
• Assist in reviewing disclosures/forms for new regulations and alignment with practices.
