The role includes coordinating treatment activities, ensuring confidentiality, and collaborating with tribal and community partners to support recovery and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor or Certified Provisional Counselor and working toward full licensure.
• Minimum of five years sobriety and abstinence while employed in this position; pre-employment drug test required.
• Professional knowledge of counseling concepts, principles, practices, methods and techniques for bio-psychosocial and spiritual treatment.

Responsibilities

• Carries an active client caseload; applies therapeutic strategies to motivate and redirect behavior.
• Provides leadership to treatment team and coordinates therapeutic activities.
• Delivers individual, group, family and marital therapy; conducts lectures and educational services.
