Job summary

VOA-Greater New York is seeking a Recruitment & Outreach Specialist for the Career Access Program, a vocational rehabilitation outreach initiative serving individuals with disabilities. You will conduct outreach, present the program to diverse stakeholders, and recruit participants who could benefit from its services.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 60 college credits, or High School Diploma with 2 years of outreach experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in outreach, social services, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to diverse community organizations to promote the Career Access Program.
• Deliver presentations to community boards, nonprofits, and agencies.
• Distribute marketing materials to promote the program and its services.
• Coordinate and participate in community events, career fairs, and information sessions to recruit participants.
• Build relationships with community partners and service organizations to expand program reach.
• Identify individuals with disabilities who may benefit from the program’s services.
• Work with the Program Manager to ensure coordinated recruitment, enrollment, and service delivery.
