Qualifications

• Associate degree or 60 college credits in the human services field, or high school diploma or GED with 2 years of relevant experience in workforce development.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication ability, including basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized retention plans for each participant, focusing on overcoming barriers to job retention and career advancement.
• Provide ongoing one‑on‑one support to participants to address challenges related to their work environment, personal circumstances, or skill development.
• Monitor participants' progress post-placement, conducting regular check‑ins to assess job satisfaction and overall well‑being.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with employers who have hired program participants, offering guidance on accommodating employees with disabilities.
• Identify and resolve barriers to retention, such as workplace challenges, skill gaps, personal issues, or conflicts between the participant and employer.
• Participate in outreach efforts to expand the program’s network of employers and community partners who are committed to hiring and retaining individuals with disabilities.
