Related Affordable in Holt, MI seeks a seasoned Community Manager to lead day-to-day operations of a 100-unit affordable housing community. You will oversee a team, drive operational excellence, and ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations while delivering a safe, welcoming living environment.

Responsibilities include leasing, marketing, recertifications, rent collection, and financial management; maintain relationships with residents and landlords; manage budgets and reporting;

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property management experience in affordable housing settings.
• Expertise with affordable housing programs (e.g., Project-Based Section 8, LIHTC).
• Strong budgeting and accounting knowledge.
• Experience with property management software (RealPage, OneSite, JD Edwards).
• Proven leadership and supervisory capabilities.
• Demonstrates proactive problem-solving and resident-centered approach.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional handling of sensitive issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
• Oversee leasing, marketing, recertifications, and administrative duties.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, rent collection, and delinquency control.
• Foster resident relations and handle tenant/landlord matters, including conflict resolution.
• Ensure compliance with affordable housing programs (HDC, HCR, HUD, LIHTC).
• Supervise maintenance and ensure timely, high-quality service.
• Develop and manage the property's financial budget.
• Prepare reports to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead special projects to enhance the community and operational success.
