Job summary

gpac is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead diverse commercial projects in Indianapolis from preconstruction through closeout. You will drive schedules, budgets, and execution while coordinating subcontractors, vendors, architects, and engineers.

You will build strong client relationships, lead meetings, review documents, manage risks, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time completion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Experience managing projects from groundbreaking through final closeout.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and leading cross-functional project teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and execution
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and consultants
• Facilitate project meetings and provide updates to clients and stakeholders
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Proactively identify and resolve project risks, scheduling issues
• Manage project financials, forecasting, cost controls, and change orders
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards
• Build lasting relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams
