Job summary

Qualifications

• Theoretical knowledge of a biological science such as Biology or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience developing complex surveys with skip logic (Qualtrics preferred).
• Experience coordinating scheduling of study visits and meetings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; ability to manage data across formats.
• Cultural competency in veteran population.

Responsibilities

• Support research efforts on veteran health, mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress in adults.
• Recruit, screen, induce and schedule research participants; assist with test administration and data collection.
• Manage project administration and data management to support multiple projects.
• Serve as primary study contact for investigators, staff and collaborators.
• Submit scholarly products for publication and grant submissions; obtain biosketches and paperwork.
• Track and maintain filing system for each grant; assist with IRB submissions.
• Answer main office telephone and disseminate messages.
• Assist clinic manager with ongoing clinical trials, field questions, distribute survey links, troubleshoot online surveys.
