Job summary

University of California - San Diego Medical Centers seeks an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator to support multiple federally funded and industry-sponsored cardiovascular studies. You will recruit participants, schedule visits, collect data, and ensure regulatory compliance across study sites.

Under supervision, you will assist with regulatory submissions, adverse event reports, and data management in Velos/CTMS environments, collaborating with the Project Manager and Clinical Research

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required or demonstrated experience in clinical research.
• Knowledge of NIH, GCP, IATA Shipping of Blood Specimens, and Bloodborne Pathogens.
• Experience recruiting participants for industry-sponsored trials.
• Experience completing CRFs and using REDCap or comparable data capture systems.
• Experience coordinating startup activities for industry-driven projects.
• Experience performing clinical research duties in a clinical research environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple federally funded and industry-sponsored clinical studies.
• Recruit and screen participants, schedule visits, collect data, and manage study records.
• Assist with regulatory submissions, safety reports, and adverse event documentation.
• Support project management, budgeting, and communication among study staff and investigators.
