Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Clinical Nurse to provide evidence-based, patient-centered care for an assigned group of patients within our hospital setting. The RN collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care plans that align with ANA standards and organizational ethics.

The role emphasizes advocacy, education, critical thinking, and professional growth. You will participate in policy development and ensure safe, high-quality nursing practice across units.

Qualifications

Graduate of an NLN accredited school/college of nursing.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher.
Current State of Illinois, Registered Professional Nurse license.

Responsibilities

Advocate for patient-centered care and develop individualized care plans.
Deliver clinically competent, evidence-based nursing care per ANA standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to advance patient plans and outcomes.
Document patient responses and adjust plans based on evaluation.
Mentor and educate team members and students as needed.
Ensure safety and a compassionate environment for patients and families.
