Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required.
• Texas teaching certificate with endorsements or training for the subject and level assigned.
• Must have Texas teacher certification for PK and ESL.
• Demonstrated competency in the academic subject area assigned.
• Physical Education Teachers: willing to obtain and maintain AED and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum and show written preparation evidence; accommodate individual student differences.
• Plan and use instructional strategies, activities, materials, equipment, and technology reflecting students' learning styles and needs.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula per IEPs and coordinate instructional goals with staff.
