Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.

• Demonstrated competency in the academic subject area assigned.
• Physical Education teachers: AED and CPR certificate required/maintained.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill district curriculum requirements.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials aligned with TEA guidelines.
• Collaborate with staff to set goals and methods for student learning.
• Serve as a positive role model and support the district mission.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with parents, students, and colleagues.
• Manage classroom environment and student behavior per the Student Code of Conduct.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in staff committees as required.
