Responsibilities

• Investigate reports of suspected neglect, child abuse, and student abuse.
• Assess safety and risk for each client in accordance with DHS guidelines.
• Conduct in-depth interviews with involved parties and other persons as necessary.
• Arrange and supervise visits and placement as court orders allow.
• Coordinate services with community providers, schools, and medical professionals.
• Maintain case records and input data into reporting systems.
• Prepare paperwork to ensure timely permanency for children.
