Job summary

Family and Children Services, Division of in Georgia is seeking a Child Welfare Services Case Supervisor to oversee a social services unit providing investigative and comprehensive case management for child abuse or neglect. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; three years of job-related case management experience.
• Or one year of experience at lower level Child Welfare Svcs Case Mgr 3 (SSP072) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and plans work of assigned staff.
• Directs professional staff in delivery of services and regulates workloads.
• Coordinates and monitors services, including tracking of client's activities.
• Develops case plans utilizing community resources to meet needs.
• Initiates legal processes for guardianship, protective services, placement and/or adoption.

Education

Bachelor's degree

Three years of job-related case management experience

One year at lower level Child Welfare Svcs Case Mgr 3 or equivalent
