Job summary

State of Georgia is seeking a Child Support Services Agent 2 in Dahlonega, GA to establish and enforce child support obligations and manage a case load while coordinating with legal and public organizations. The role reports to a supervisor within the DCSS of DHS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• High school diploma/GED and two years of direct job-related experience.
• One year of experience at the lower-level Child Support Services Agent 1 (SST060) or position equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Establishes child support obligations and ensures that such obligations are met.
• Communicates with clients and other constituents via telephone, email, correspondence and direct contact to ensure that support obligations are met.
• Manages a caseload to ensure that child support obligations are met.
• Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
• Under direct supervision, establishes and enforces child support obligations of responsible parents.
• Coordinates child support activities with legal, judicial and public organizations.

Education
