Job summary

Grant Associates is seeking a Case Manager to help TANF participants obtain, retain, and advance in employment through intensive case management, workforce development, coaching, and employer engagement.

The role emphasizes assessment of skills and barriers, development of individualized employment plans, and proactive job placement activities with partners to advance customers toward self-sufficiency and long-term stability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or better; degree preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to problem-solve and work with a diverse customer base
• Results-oriented with strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and provide ongoing employment-focused case management.
• Assess customers' skills, work history, employment goals, and barriers to employment.
• Develop and maintain individualized employment and service plans with measurable job placement goals.
• Assist customers in obtaining employment through job matching, referrals, and employer connections.
• Monitor participation in Job Readiness, Job Search, and other workforce activities.
• Provide career coaching, motivation, and guidance throughout the job search and employment journey.
• Assist with resume development, cover letters, interview prep, and workplace readiness skills.
• Conduct regular follow-up on applications, interviews, and employment outcomes.
• Build relationships with employers and workforce partners to identify opportunities.
• Connect customers to supportive services that remove barriers to employment.
