Job summary

Lutheran Family and Children’s Services (LFCS) is seeking a Case Manager/Social Worker to coordinate care for clients in St. Louis, Missouri.

This full-time professional role focuses on safe, timely, effective, equitable and client-centered services, with opportunities for in-home or virtual counseling and education. Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's in social work or related field, a valid driver's license and reliable transportation; two years' experience in child welfare

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or other Human Behavior Science.
Candidate must be a licensed driver with access to dependable personal transportation and auto insurance.
Two years’ experience in child welfare or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and provide care to clients that are safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and client-centered.
Provide case management, counseling, parenting/education, and outreach services in home or virtually.
Create a service plan with the client to establish goals aligned with client wishes.
Counsel, advocate, and teach clients the skills identified in their service plan in person or virtually.
Respond to client crises within program parameters and protocols.
