Job summary

Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Case Manager for Child & Adolescent Mental Health. The role focuses on coordinating care, developing individualized plans, and supporting families in community settings.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma with preferred associate or bachelor’s in human services, and may have QMHP certification. Travel up to 15% is expected as part of community-based work.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of a high school diploma. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a human services field preferred.
• Experience: Clinical experience in human services with children/adolescents/emerging adults is not required but is preferred.
• Licensure/Certifications: Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) preferred.
• Background Check: Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry report will be required upon selection.
• Safe Driving Record: This position requires transporting clients or driving agency vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for children/adolescents with mental health diagnoses and families to access supports they need.
• Develop comprehensive plans of care for assigned clients and implement ongoing case management.
• Provide home, school, and community visits and attend doctor appointments as needed.
• Educate families about available supports and collaborate with other community agencies.
