Job summary

Bethany Christian Services is seeking a Case Aide to support domestic programs in Flint, MI. You will provide client transportation, help schedule medical and dental appointments, and document interactions for case managers.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills and a compassionate, customer-focused mindset. As part of a faith-based team, you will participate in trainings, maintain records, and assist with routine tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must provide excellent and compassionate customer service.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
• Reliable with time sensitive deadlines and tasks.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Must pass MVR check and provide proof of insurance.
• Pass criminal history checks including state/local child protection registries.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to clients including medical appointments and foster homes.
• Assist with scheduling medical and dental appointments.
• Draft and maintain notes, sharing with the case manager.
• Monitor home visits with clients.
• Complete paperwork and phone calls for the case manager as requested.
• Schedule and prioritize work duties with supervision.
• Report transportation issues affecting timely service.
• Attend trainings and meetings as assigned by supervisor.
• May assist with file audits and small purchase requests.
• Participate in Bethany-sponsored events when asked.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
