Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have the ability to provide excellent and compassionate customer service.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
• Must be reliable with time sensitive deadlines and tasks.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and at least 3 years driving experience in the U.S. to operate a vehicle for Bethany.
• Pass aMotor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate coverage.
• Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries.
• Commitment to the agency Faith Statement, Mission Statement, and Unity.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to clients including medical appointments, foster homes, and other social agencies.
• Assist with scheduling medical and dental appointments for clients.
• Draft and maintain notes related to interactions and concerns observed during visits and share notes with the assigned case manager.
• Monitor home visits with clients.
• Complete paperwork and phone calls for the case manager as requested.
• Schedule and prioritize work duties in collaboration with supervisor and team members.
• Report transportation problems that impede timely transportation requests.
• Attend trainings and meetings as assigned by supervisor.
• May assist with file audits and small purchase requests.
• Essential duties may vary by program/department.
• Participate in Bethany-sponsored events as required.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
