Job summary

Mount Hermon Association Incorporated seeks a dedicated First Aid Coordinator for Redwood Camp to oversee health services for campers and staff. You will supervise First Aid Technicians, manage the Health Center, and ensure medication handling adheres to policy.

Under the Camp Nurse and Healthcare Administrator, you will coordinate health screenings, documents, and transport as needed, supporting the mission and safety of all participants.

Qualifications

• High school graduate; some college preferred.
• Current American Heart Association First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Some college coursework in preventative health is preferred.
• Experience in health services or camp health programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Guide and direct the RWC First Aid Technicians under CC Camp Nurse or Healthcare Services Administrator.
• Coordinate stocking of the RWC Healthcare Center and document supplies.
• Assist with medication handling per MHA policy and procedures.
• Transport campers or staff to urgent care or hospital per MHA two-person policy.
• Document daily camper/staff encounters in Circuitree and Camp Health Log.
• Ensure AEDs are checked and documented weekly.
• Participate in health screenings as needed.
• Assist with required forms (Workman’s Comp, incident reports, insurance docs) and ensure HR paperwork is complete within 24 hours.
• Carry First Aid backpacks (Epi-pens, Benadryl) on Beach Day and coordinate with CC Camp Nurse.
• Perform other duties as assigned by CC Health Supervisor.
