Job summary

Mount Hermon Association Incorporated is seeking a First Aid Coordinator for The Ponderosa Lodge to oversee health services for campers and staff, guided by our mission and values. You will work with the CC Camp Nurse, manage medication handling, and ensure safety protocols during activities and transportation.

The role requires leadership, excellent interpersonal and listening skills, and a willingness to engage in outdoor camp programs.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Current American Heart Association Certification in First Aid/CPR/AED (infant, child, and adult).
• Must be 21+ years old with a clean driving record per MH driver policy.
• College coursework in preventative health practices, pharmacology, anatomy and physiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise PL First Aid Technicians and coordinate with CC Camp Nurse and Healthcare Administrator.
• Help stock the PL Healthcare Center.
• Manage medication storage and dosing per policy.
• Assist with transporting campers or staff to urgent care or hospital per policy.
• Report to CC Camp Nurse all campers requiring offsite healthcare or transport.
• Maintain weekly AED checks and document encounters in Circuitree and Camp Health Log.
