Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university required.
• Valid Pennsylvania Certification or confirmed pathway to certification desired.
• Master's Degree in Education or related field desired.
• 2+ years of experience teaching in education environment desired.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute developmentally appropriate lessons in assigned content areas.
• Maintain all assigned courses to high standards, adjust lessons and assessments as necessary.
• Gather resources to address state standards in lessons, instructional materials, and assessments.
• Regularly monitor and maintain student attendance expectations.
• Provide timely feedback to students to support mastery of content.
• Participate in procuring state-mandated testing, field trips, and outreach events.
• Collaborate with department and peers to achieve academic goals.
• Maintain accurate records in student information systems.
