Job summary

KIPP Philadelphia Public Schools is seeking a Secondary Building Substitute in Philadelphia for the 2026-2027 academic year. The role is full-time with an immediate start, within the School-based Support department.

The Building Substitute provides instructional support and program assistance, covering lead teachers and supporting student learning throughout the day. Hours are 8:00-4:30 daily; this is a one-year grant-funded position with potential for growth into permanent roles as noted by

• Prior experience in educational settings required.
• Complete all required criminal and child abuse background checks prior to start date.
