Job summary

Southeast Delco School District is seeking a High School Supplemental Teacher (Building Substitute) for Academy Park High School for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree, PA certification or a confirmed pathway, and 2+ years of teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited college or university.
• PA Certification or pathway to certification desired.
• Master's Degree in Education or related field desired.
• 2+ years experience teaching in an educational environment desired.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute developmentally appropriate lessons in assigned content areas.
• Maintain courses to high standards and adjust lessons as needed.
• Gather resources addressing state standards in lessons and assessments.
• Monitor and maintain student attendance expectations.
• Provide timely feedback to help students reach mastery goals.
• Collaborate with department and peers to reach student outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records in student information systems.
