Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field required and PA teaching certification.
• PA Department of Education Form 6004: Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification required.
• PA State Police Criminal History Clearance required.
• Federal Criminal History Clearance required.
• Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training required.
• Child Abuse Clearance required.
• Suicide Prevention Training required.
• Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release required.
• Tuberculosis test/physical required.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful instruction to students in assigned classrooms when regular teacher is absent.
• Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives.
• Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
• Report student injuries, illness, and discipline issues to school administration.
• Perform other duties as directed by school administration.
