The role involves assessments, medication administration, chronic disease management, and emergency response in a controlled environment. New grads are encouraged to apply and will receive training in correctional healthcare.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• Active state nursing license as LVN/LPN.
• Must hold a BLS CPR Certification (American Heart Association preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and interview patients about health problems.
• Take vital signs including BP, temperature, and weight.
• Provide wound care and dressing changes.
