RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Behavioral Health Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a part-time role. The DSP supports individuals with mental health and behavioral health challenges in home and community settings.

Responsibilities include assisting with requests for services, promoting wellness, and enabling independent living, with safe transportation and community activities. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Meet all pre-employment screening.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assists the person(s) in identifying and communicating requests for services and support.
• Promote and support a healthy lifestyle by educating on wellness practices.
• Foster self-advocacy and encourage independent living choices.
• Accompany individuals in community activities to promote social engagement.
• Teach and support development of independent living skills.
• Provide safe transportation to appointments and engagements.
• Foster inclusive relationships and belonging within the community.
• Guide decision-making about living arrangements, employment, and social relationships.
• Assist with personal care tasks and household chores to maintain a comfortable living environment.
• Document all services to ensure accurate records and effective communication.
• Connect individuals to resources for career exploration, education, and growth.
• Promote respectful, clear, and supportive interactions.

Education
