Job summary

Devereux New Jersey is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to help adults with autism and developmental disabilities build greater independence and life skills. You will supervise programs, support community activities, and coordinate transport under the guidance of a clinical team.

A high school diploma, valid driver's license, and a compassionate, team-oriented approach are required. Two-week orientation is provided, with hybrid and in-person formats to support your onboarding and growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid, non-provisional driver's license required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Attend two-week paid orientation training (hybrid and in person).
• Must be able to respond calmly, make thoughtful decisions, and seek support when needed.
• Show empathy, reliability, and a team-oriented approach to supporting adults with autism and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs addressing individuals' social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.
• Supervise, plan and participate in community-based jobs, volunteer opportunities, and outings for individuals.
• Schedule and transport individuals to and from day programs.
• Build positive, productive relationships with family members to support individual thriving.
