Job summary

Devereux New Jersey in Maywood is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to support individuals in day programs. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety, health, and progress in daily living skills.

Starting salary is $21.00 per hour with increases based on education and experience. We offer time off from day one, tuition and student loan assistance, growth opportunities and a collaborative environment aligned with Servant Leadership principles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid non-provisional driver''s license.
• Must be 18 years or older; able to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
• Empathetic with a team-based approach to care for individuals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure individuals are safe and healthy while attending the day program.
• Supervise, coach, and assist individuals in daily living skills (e.g., cooking, cleaning, shopping).
• Oversee planning, implementation, and documentation of programs meeting social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.
• Plan and participate in community-based jobs, volunteer opportunities, and outings.
• Schedule and transport individuals to and from the day program.
