Job summary

Cedars International Academy is seeking an ACE Afterschool Enrichment Counselor to support K-8 students in the 21st Century ACE program. You will assist teachers with academics, lead homework help, and plan enrichment activities in a safe, structured after-school setting.

Hours are Monday–Thursday 3:30 PM–6:00 PM and Friday 12:30 PM–6:00 PM, with additional training as required; a part-time, grant-funded role per the ACE program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Coursework from a college or university is preferred. Education majors preferred.
• Experience working with school-age youth.
• Experience planning and leading activities for school-age children preferred.
• Must complete criminal background check and SBEC fingerprinting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified teachers with academic activities and lead homework help for K-8 students.
• Implement enrichment activities and manage activity centers.
• Supervise and guide students during after-school program hours.
