Job summary

Cedars International Academy is seeking an After School Counselor to supervise and provide engaging learning experiences for students in the after-school program. The role supports grades Pre-K3 through 8th and follows the school calendar.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must pass a fingerprint background check.
• Experience with groups of children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities for the after school class.
• Plan enrichment activities.
• Communicate with parents.
• Conduct daily activities.
• Assist with homework.
• Create a safe and welcoming environment.
• Resolve conflicts within the class.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director.
