Job summary

Del Valle Independent School District is seeking an ACE X LEAD Afterschool Instructor to provide engaging academic and enrichment activities for Pre‑K through 8th grade after school. Hours are 3–6 PM on elementary campuses and 4–6 PM on secondary campuses, with occasional variations.

You will plan lessons, manage behavior, supervise students, and coordinate with enrichment specialists. Some evening/weekend events may occur.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Fingerprinting background check required.
• Experience with school-based or youth programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on enrichment and academic support aligned with DVISD ACE x LEAD guides and TEKS where appropriate.
• Deliver lessons to build skills in reading, math, science and other core areas.
• Submit activity lesson and unit plans on pre-arranged dates to enrichment specialists.
• Supervise students during program hours and manage behavior per policy.
• Collaborate with campus staff and enrichment team to support student growth.
