Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or 48 semester hours or completing ParaPro requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Proof of education, training, and/or experience required.

Responsibilities

• Generates tutoring plans with individual goals and enrichment activities.
• Develops academic exercises and supports small groups and individuals.
• Prepares and organizes instructional materials and classroom for learning.
• Reinforces classroom knowledge and skills.
• Assists teachers with instruction and daily routines.
• Provides instructional support to students needing tutoring services.
• Uses instructional practices and assessment techniques effectively.
• Collects and reports data for accountability and program development.
• Compiles information for reports and evaluations.
• Communicates and collaborates with teachers effectively.
