Job summary

Solari Enterprises, Inc. in Downtown San Diego, CA seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a 91-unit permanent supportive housing community.

Under regional manager, you’ll handle admin, maintenance oversight, on-site staff, and fiscal stewardship. Requirements include 2–5 years in property management, staff supervision, Section 8 experience, HUD/TCAC inspections, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of property management experience.
• Experience supervising staff members.
• Experience with Section 8.
• Experience with periodic inspections (HUD, TCAC, City).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Maintain accurate resident files in compliance with management and funding agency regulations.
• Process applicants and lease units according to Resident Selection Criteria.
• Maintain relationships with local government agencies (HUD, TCAC, etc.).
• Conduct regular follow-up inspections on maintenance work, grounds and common areas.
• Collect rents and manage delinquent accounts.
