The Assistant Community Manager oversees on-site operations, under the Regional Manager, handling administration, maintenance, and staff coordination. The role requires 2–5 years in property management, supervision experience, Section 8 know-how, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Reliable transportation and a valid California driver license required.
• Experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi) preferred.
• Section 8 experience and HUD/TCAC/City inspections knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all on-site community team members.
• Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Maintain resident files compliant with management and funding agency regulations.
• Process applications and lease units following Resident Selection Criteria.
• Maintain relationships with HUD, TCAC, and local government agencies.
• Conduct regular inspections of maintenance, grounds, and common areas.
• Collect rents and manage delinquent accounts.
