Job summary

Per Scholas is seeking an Associate for Recruitment & Admissions to build and manage a strong pipeline of applicants. You will spearhead outreach, information sessions, and partnerships with referral organizations to ensure ongoing enrollment growth at the Silver Spring campus.

The role emphasizes data-driven admissions, Salesforce data management, and cross-functional collaboration to advance Per Scholas’ tech training mission for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Experience in admissions in a nonprofit or college environment a plus.
• Strong technical aptitude with Google Sheets/Excel, Slides/PowerPoint, Salesforce etc.
• Excellent written communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
• Experience with social media marketing a plus.
• Prior knowledge or background in IT, a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Culture a pipeline of applicants and manage outreach and enrollment lifecycle.
• Conduct information sessions and organize off-site sessions.
• Build relationships with referral partner organizations for ongoing partnerships.
• Process applications, conduct phone screens and TABE assessments, schedule interviews.
• Communicate with candidates to build rapport and trust; refer to supportive services when needed.
• Implement retention activities for alumni populations, including women and young adults.
