Job summary

Mesa Springs is looking for an Activities Therapy Coordinator to lead therapeutic programming for its Fort Worth community. You will assess patient needs, develop goals, and coordinate group activities while collaborating with the treatment team to optimize outcomes.

The role requires a relevant bachelor's degree and appropriate licenses with CPR and CPI training within 30 days. This is an on-site, full-time position within Lifepoint Health's behavioral health network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or equivalent.
• CTRS, MT-BC, ATR, ATR-BC, or ATR-P license as required by state regulations.
• Experience in psychiatric healthcare settings preferred.
• CPR certification and CPI within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Apply theory and standards for therapeutic practices and decision-making.
• Assess patient needs considering cultural, religious, and physical factors.
• Document patient responses and progress in treatment.
• Formulate and update treatment programs with measurable goals.
• Develop care plans and coordinate with the treatment team.
• Provide therapy procedures per plan and adjust when needed.
• Coordinate workflows, scheduling, and materials for group programming.
