Responsibilities

• Conducts individual and group therapy sessions to educate patients regarding psychological, emotional, or substance abuse problems.
• Displays active involvement in treatment planning process.
• Provides family session counseling to involve family and support groups in treatment.
• Communicates with clients, families, and outside referral sources.
• Maintains documentation and completes paperwork accurately and timely.
• Demonstrates crisis intervention and de-escalation skills.
