ncgCARE in Supply, NC is seeking a full-time Peer Support Specialist to join our ACT team. You will provide essential expertise to promote client-centered treatment plans, symptom stability, and independent living within the community.

The role emphasizes advocacy, collaboration with care teams, and 24/7 on-call availability, with compensation aligned to licensure level and experience.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) in North Carolina.
• Personal experience with mental health and/or substance use recovery is required.
• Strong communication and advocacy skills.
• Commitment to ACT model and person-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the ACT team leader to monitor clients’ clinical status and responses to treatment.
• Assist in identifying, planning, scheduling, and implementing services tailored to each client’s needs.
• Maintain accurate records and document treatment goals in person-centered plans.
• Provide consultation to the ACT team to promote a person-centered approach to care.
• Be available for 24/7/365 on-call support.
