Job summary

Thrive Behavior Centers is a locally owned company, providing ABA therapy to children ages two to ten under supervision. The Behavior Technician (BT) delivers direct ABA therapy and participates in the therapy team to support client progress, safety, and family engagement.

Qualifications

• Must hold RBT certification or obtain within 60 days of employment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties.
• Ability to communicate with clients, families and staff clearly.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients one-on-one under supervision of a BCBA.
• Monitor client safety and intervene as needed during sessions.
• Administer behavioral interventions and implement programs as written.
• Build rapport and engage clients with ABA-based activities.
• Document data and session notes using electronic systems.
• Create notes for parents regarding activities and progress.
• Support supervisors and other staff as needed.
