Job summary

Housing Advocacy Vocational and Employment, Inc. in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking a passionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver evidence-based ABA under the supervision of a BCBA.

You will implement treatment plans and help clients develop communication, social, daily living, and adaptive skills. You will collect data, maintain session notes, and collaborate with families and the interdisciplinary team to support positive outcomes while adhering to regulatory standards and ongoing

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with ASD or developmental disabilities.
• Strong data collection, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow detailed behavioral protocols and stay calm in challenging situations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with clients, families, and team members.
• Must pass background check and comply with state/agency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Collect accurate data on client behavior and progress during sessions.
• Utilize positive reinforcement to support skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
• Assist clients in developing communication, social, daily living, and adaptive skills.
• Maintain detailed session notes and documentation per standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision.
