Job summary

Yes ABA Therapy in Bel Air, MD is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver ABA-based behavioral health services, implement care plans, and support clients toward meaningful progress in a collaborative setting.

You will collect data, assist with ADLs, and work with families and a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust treatment plans, while maintaining HIPAA-compliant records and compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in behavioral therapy, ABA, or special education preferred.
• Ability to work with children and individuals with developmental disabilities/ASD.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, records management, and HIPAA standards.
• Strong data collection, behavior management, and intervention skills.
• Compassionate attitude with excellent communication to engage clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA-based techniques to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Assist clients with ADLs (grooming, feeding, hygiene) to foster independence.
• Collect and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment changes.
• Support teaching sessions with evidence-based strategies for skill acquisition.
• Maintain accurate medical records and care plans in HIPAA-compliant manner.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Provide patient-centered care with empathy in a safe environment.
