Job summary

Helping Hands Family in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver play-based ABA therapy to children with autism. You will provide 1-on-1 direct care in clinics, homes, or in the community, and implement sessions designed by a BCBA.

You’ll collect behavior data, collaborate with your team, and help children reach developmental milestones through evidence-based techniques. Training and advancement opportunities are available, with a paid RBT training program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s in human services preferred.
• Comfort working with children.
• Ability to perform physical tasks up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with families.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to complete company-provided RBT training and pass the RBT exam within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 direct care to children with autism in clinics, at home, or in the community.
• Teach daily living and social skills using evidence-based treatments and positive reinforcement.
• Implement therapy sessions designed by a BCBA.
• Accurately collect behavior data and collaborate with the team to support each child's progress.
