Job summary

Acorn Health in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Part Time Behavior Technician to deliver evidence-based ABA therapy to children on the autism spectrum under supervision of BCBA clinicians. You will provide 1:1 services in center, home, or school settings, contributing to skill building and behavior support plans.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience working with children preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, teaching, or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Background check must be passable.
• Interest in interdisciplinary teamwork and collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 direct ABA treatment to clients.
• Deliver therapy to increase skills and reduce problem behaviors.
• Coordinate with BCBA and team for quality service delivery.
• Support parent/caregiver training as directed.
• Collect data and document progress to guide treatment decisions.
• Communicate with parents, supervisors, and others to improve plans.
• Deliver services in center, home, school, or other settings as indicated.
• Schedule may include driving between clients.
