Job summary

Acorn Health is seeking a Behavior Technician to deliver high-quality, intensive ABA interventions under BCBA supervision in centers, homes, schools, or other settings. You will work 1:1 with children on the autism spectrum, collecting data and supporting individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications include 1–2 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree preferred in psychology or related field, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience working with children preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, teaching, or related field preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Complete training necessary to provide therapy (state requirements may vary)
• Deliver 1:1 direct ABA treatment to clients to increase skills and reduce problem behaviors
• Work closely with supervising BCBA and team to ensure high quality service delivery
• Support parent and caregiver training as directed by the BCBA
• Collect data and document client records to monitor progress and guide treatment decisions
• Communicate regularly with parents and supervisors to inform and improve treatment plans
• Provide services in center, home, school, or other locations as clinically indicated
• Schedule may include driving between clients
