Job summary

POPS BT is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians to join our team. You will work directly with clients under the supervision of a BCBA to implement individualized intervention plans and teach essential life skills in homes, schools, and community settings.

You will deliver evidence-based ABA, collect progress data, and support clients in achieving meaningful goals while receiving comprehensive training and support from experienced clinicians.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior intervention plans with fidelity; data collection accuracy.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients' homes, schools, or community settings.
• Commitment to ethical standards, client confidentiality, and a positive, inclusive environment.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting individuals with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA to address clients' needs and goals.
• Provide one-on-one instruction using ABA techniques, including DTT, naturalistic teaching, and behavior management.
• Collect data on client progress using designated data collection tools.
• Help clients acquire functional skills across communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living.
• Foster a supportive learning environment, promoting engagement, motivation, and independence.
• Collaborate with BCBA and interdisciplinary team to review progress and adjust strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and teams, sharing progress and information.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development in ABA.
