Job summary

Stellantis NV in Auburn Hills, MI, seeks a Test Lab Technician to join the Vehicle Impact Team. You will prepare vehicles for crash testing, install and validate electrical and mechanical systems, and support post-impact inspections.

You will work with engineers across platforms, document test preparations, and help diagnose root causes of failures. An associate degree in electronics and 2+ years of auto electrical diag experience are required; teamwork and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in electronics or vehicle electronics.
  • Minimum two years of auto electrical diagnosis experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and vehicle systems.
  • Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and modify vehicles for crash and impact testing.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and validate electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Perform vehicle build-up and build-down electrical activities for development testing.
  • Support post-impact vehicle inspections and failure analysis investigations.
  • Assist engineers with root cause analysis of component and system failures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of test preparations and results.
