The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of automotive component functionality and demonstrated experience identifying and diagnosing the root causes of mechanical and electrical system failures.
This position requires a hands-on, high-energy individual with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment. The ideal candidate will have broad knowledge of automotive electrical and mechanical systems and be comfortable supporting a wide range of vehicle development and validation activities.
The Test Lab Technician will collaborate closely with Program Engineers across all vehicle platforms to prepare vehicles for impact testing, support post-impact inspections and analysis, troubleshoot test-related issues, and develop innovative solutions for component testing within the Energy Management and Development (EMD) Lab. The role also involves vehicle modifications, prototype builds, component installation, fabrication support, and assisting with the execution of safety and development testing programs.
