Job summary

Global Impact Collective, a woman-owned strategy consultancy, seeks a Strategy Associate to grow our food systems and sustainability portfolio. You will work with senior consultants on research, synthesis, and client-ready deliverables, driving workshops and stakeholder engagement from idea through delivery.

Remote (Seattle, WA preferred) with potential conversion to FTE; this fulltime contract role offers mentorship, exposure to global brands, and meaningful impact on food systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, sustainable business, food science, environmental studies, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in consulting, research, sustainability, food systems, strategy, social impact, or related environment requiring research, analysis, and project execution skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project execution: coordinate and deliver complex, multi-stakeholder client projects and create high-quality client-facing deliverables.
• Manage project logistics: maintain plans, timelines, budgets, and documentation to keep projects on track.
• Support meetings and workshops: prepare agendas, notes, and follow-up items.
• Support client communications: assist with updates and status reporting.
• Conduct rigorous research: lead primary and secondary research including literature reviews, market scans, stakeholder interviews, and data gathering.
• Synthesize findings: turn data into clear insights and recommendations for clients.
• Track finances: assist with budget tracking, invoicing, and expense reconciliation.
